The Chorale season runs from September through May. We perform two programs a year, in the winter and spring, with two performances of each program. In addition, in March 2019 we will be singing with the Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra in a performance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9.
Open Sings are held at the beginning of each season, in September and January. Open Sings are not auditions; they are a chance to see what we’re singing for the coming season and to meet your fellow singers. Attending an Open Sing does not mean you have to join the Chorale – though of course we hope you will! Curious about how we sound? Visit our YouTube channel.
The Chorale rehearses once a week on Monday evenings. Sectionals are scheduled periodically throughout the season. Chorale members also perform occasionally at Midnight Merriment in Concord and at other events. The Chorale Calendar will give you more information about rehearsals, sectionals, and performance dates. To learn about what’s expected of Chorale members, review our Welcome Letter and Registration Form.
Chorale dues are $50.00 per semester.
If you were a member for the Fall 2018 season, then you are a returning member. You do not have to fill out the registration form. Just come to the rehearsal on Monday, pay your dues, confirm your contact information and you’re set.
New members (anyone who did not belong in the Fall of 2018) should complete the registration form. You can do this online or download the form and bring it with you, with your dues, to rehearsal.
