Sing With Us!

The Suncook Valley Chorale is singing for joy during our  Fall 2024 Semester

The Chorale rehearses on Monday evenings - at 6:30PM. Sectionals and monthly board meetings (open to all members) are scheduled separately and will be announced at least 1 week in advance.  Can't read music? Not a problem! Rehearsal Audio Files will be provided to all members early in the season to help you practice at home!

Review our
Guidelines for Membership and the information below to learn more about what is expected of Chorale members.
Membership Dues

SVC asks its members to pay dues in the amount of $60 per concert season.  These dues help to pay for our concert venue, and the packets of music that we provide for our concert seasons. Dues will be collected at the start of the season - at one of the open sings or the first regular rehearsal. If you have not yet paid your dues then your music packet must be turned in to the membership chair or librarian at the end of the rehearsal or open sing event. Once your dues are paid your packet of music is yours for the season.

The board at SVC understands that we live in uncertain times and that $60 is not something that everyone can afford. To that end we do provide "scholarships" and payment plans to alleviate this difficulty.  To inquire about these programs simply contact our membership chair either at the rehearsal, or by email at Membership@SVCNH.org.

COVID-19 Safety

In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic the SVC Board has put the following rules in place:

  • A Waiver will be presented to you when your membership dues are paid. This waiver states that you understand that singing in chorale has a high risk of COVID-19 Transmission, and must be signed before your membership can be fully confirmed.

  • All members joining us for the first time, or returning from past seasons, must provide proof of  full COVID-19 vaccination including all booster shots for which you are eligible. In the case of those with medical reasons for not being vaccinated we ask that you please provide a document from your doctor stating that you have a medical exemption.

  • The proof of vaccination or documented  medical exemption will noted on our membership roster, and the document itself returned to you for your privacy.

  • In the likely event that new boosters become available during our performing season, the board recommends that anyone eligible for a new booster gets it, and will require it for future seasons.

  • Masking is not required at rehearsal, however the Board does recommend masking

  • If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or any illness, we encourage you to not attend rehearsal until you are feeling better. Keep in contact with your Section Leader and rehearse at home as you are able.
