Suncook Valley Chorale
Is a multi-community, non-auditioned choral group of men and
women committed to promoting the appreciation of choral works
of various periods. We have two "seasons", one beginning
in September and the other in January. We give at least two public
concerts at the conclusion of each season. In 2007/8 we
celebrated our twenty-fifth year of singing together.
Our motto is: SING FOR JOY!

THE 2008-2009 SEASON:
Our general theme this year will be, "Hey, I've heard
that song before!" Connecting with our audience and their
musical experiences, attracting prospective singers and encouraging
veterans to participate again... these are two of the driving ideas
behind this theme.

Open Sings
All those who love to sing are cordially invited to join us for our
Open Sings, which will be held Monday, September 8th & 15th,
to begin our 2009 season. In January, on the 19th &
26th, we'll begin rehearsals for the May 2009 concerts with two
Open Sings for that season. The Open Sings and subsequent weekly
rehearsals will be held at the Pleasant View Retirement Center in
Concord, NH (see DIRECTIONS). The
Open Sings are a chance for you to meet other Chorale members, to meet
our Director, and to see what we'll be spending time and energy singing
that season - in fact it is a chance for you to "audition" us. (We do
not require members to audition for participation.) Come and join us -
click on Contact Us if you have questions. |
